The first fluids optical sensor IFX has been presented in occasion of BIMU 2004, after two years of research and development with BTSR.
MWM Schmieranlagen has developed an optical sensor designed for detection of lubricant streaks, for minimal air + oil flow starting from 40 mm3 / h. The optical sensor IFX is programmable and is able to detect image changes produced by the passage of lubricant streaks inside pipes of external diameter 4 or 6 mm. It is the first device in the world of this kind produced by two Italian companies, protected by an international patent.
