Cooperation between MWM Schmieranlagen and one of the leading Italian manufacturers of vertical machining centers for engraving: PEAR - Meccaniche Arrigo Pecchioli, founded in 1921 in Florence.
A special project developed by MWM for air-oil minimal quantity lubrication for bearings of electro-spindles PEAR able to perform rigid tapping.
Spindles can be mounted with cone type HSK32, two versions are available with maximum rotation speed 30.000 rpm or 40.000 rpm, or cone type HSK40, which, compared to the previuos one, has higher power and larger spindles. The machine is available in 3-axles and 5-axles versions.

The air-oil lubrication of spindle bearings is controlled by a control unit that sends calibrated lubricant drops at pre-set intervals ensuring continuous and exact lubrication with "fresh" and 3-micron filtered oil. Thanks to air-oil mixer type MVF-A (patented by MWM) a photodiode sensor monitors the regular functioning of oil dosage for every lubrication point. This allows to increase life of bearings by four times than a similar grease lubrication.
